MerryMart Grocery Centers Inc is seeking an IT Officer to support SAP interfaces, system maintenance, and inter-system integration from our Pasay head office. The role emphasizes ensuring data accuracy, timely updates, and user support across SAP applications.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, has 1–2 years of IT infra and application experience, hands-on SAP module work, and is willing to work on-site five days weekly in Metro Manila.

Formación

• At least a Bachelor's Degree or College Degree in Industrial Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in IT handling infrastructure and applications.
• Hands-on experience handling SAP Modules from both front and back-end programming.
• Must be willing to work on-site 5 days a week.

Responsabilidades

• Developing SAP interface program as per business units requirements.
• Performing emergency systems diagnosis after system failures.
• Assisting the Head of IT in program development or systems design.
• Assisting in the integration of new and existing systems for operational efficiency.
• Responding to department's requests to facilitate printing/generation of specific reports in the systems.
• Interfacing transactional data to the financial system and other systems used by the Company.
• Interfacing cash and non-cash sales to financial system.
• Ensures data accuracy in all systems generated reports.
• Promptly responding and resolving user's problems on SAP systems application as the need arises.
• Acquiring full details of issues encountered by system users and apply the required update in the system.
• Apply system updates timely and seamlessly, including bug fixes, updates for internal and external requirements.

The IT Officer shall be responsible for:

Skills Needed:

• Must be knowledgeable of ERP-SAP Modules both front-end and back-end systems, PowerBuilder, Web based and/or client-server based application development tool.

• Object-oriented programming.

• Knowledge on database platforms (DB2, Oracle, MS, SQL, MySQL)

• Basic knowledge of personal computer hardware and peripherals.

Must haves:

• At least Bachelor's Degree or College Degree in Industrial Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the field of IT handling infrastructure and applications.

• Hands-on experience handling SAP Modules from both front and back-end programming.

• Must be willing to work on-site 5 days a week.
