Key Responsibilities

SAP Development & Customization

Develop and enhance SAP applications using languages like ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming). Customize SAP modules (e.g., Inventory Management, Logistics) based on business needs.

System Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Work with users and business teams to understand requirements. Translate business processes into SAP system solutions.

Integration & Interface Development: Integrate SAP with other systems (e.g., third‑party apps, databases, APIs). Ensure smooth data flow between SAP and non‑SAP systems. Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify and fix bugs or system issues in SAP programs.

SAP Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to users encountering SAP issues. Analyze and resolve errors in reports, transactions, or interfaces.

Data Management & Reporting: Develop SAP reports, forms, and data extraction programs. Ensure accuracy and consistency of data.

Documentation: Prepare technical specifications, user manuals, and process documentation. Maintain records of system changes and enhancements.

Performance Optimization: Improve system performance by optimizing ABAP code and database queries. Monitor system efficiency and recommend improvements.

Security & Compliance: Ensure SAP programs follow security standards and access controls. Support audit and compliance requirements. Assist in SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Stay updated with new SAP technologies.
