Job summary

XG Tech in the Philippines is seeking an IT Helpdesk / IT Support Engineer to deliver day-to-day technical support for employees and ensure the smooth operation of the company’s IT systems and office infrastructure. You will set up laptops and accounts, manage onboarding and offboarding, troubleshoot Windows, VPN and network issues, and maintain IT assets and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5 years of IT helpdesk or desktop support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops, peripherals, software and user accounts.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, including equipment allocation and account access.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPN, Wi‑Fi and basic network issues.
• Maintain records of IT assets, licences and user accounts.
• Support office IT infrastructure, including network equipment and meeting room systems.
• Manage IT support requests and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
• Support IT security, endpoint protection and access control measures.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades and other IT initiatives.
