Job summary

WHR Global Consulting is seeking an IT Support Technician in the Philippines. You will provide technical support to employees, manage day-to-day IT operations, and troubleshoot issues across laptops, printers, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and Office 365.

You will use remote tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, and Datto for support and help ensure secure access and onboarding/offboarding processes. Required are strong communication skills, Windows OS knowledge, and the ability to learn new software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
Diploma holders may be considered with strong relevant experience.
1–2 years of relevant IT support or helpdesk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets and support requests.
Perform password resets, account unlocks, and user access provisioning.
Troubleshoot issues involving laptops, printers, VPN, Wi-Fi, and Office 365.
Provide remote desktop support using TeamViewer, AnyDesk or Datto tools.
Handle onboarding and offboarding: account creation/removal and equipment setup.
Perform basic device management: software installation, patching, antivirus monitoring.
Escalate infrastructure, network, server, and security issues to IT Manager.
Document recurring issues; maintain ticket logs and IT asset inventory.
Assist with Windows upgrades, software deployments, and system migrations.
