Job summary

Italia Group, an expanding Indian manufacturer, seeks an IT Head to steer technology across plants and business operations. This business-enablement role focuses on reliability, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data, and automation ROI across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.

You will drive ERP stability, CRM ecosystems, IoT initiatives, and analytics while leading a cross-functional team, managing budgets, and ensuring governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• 12–15+ years IT experience, including 3–5+ years in manufacturing/plant environments.
• Experience with CRM, integrations/middleware, BI/analytics.
• Plant automation / IIoT / MES / sensors knowledge.
• Cybersecurity awareness (ISO 27001/NIST, OT/IT security).
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder and vendor management.
• Budget ownership and vendor negotiation experience.

Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure & Operations: ensure availability of servers, network, Wi‑Fi, endpoints, backups, and cloud/on‑prem infrastructure across plants and offices.
• ERP & Business Applications: own ERP stability, enhancements, integrations, master data, access controls, vendor management, and reporting.
• CRM & Application Ecosystem: manage CRM and business apps; integrate with ERP; manage licenses and SLAs.
• Plant Automation / IoT / Industry 4.0: identify and implement IoT, sensors, OEE, predictive maintenance, dashboards; measure ROI.
• Digital Transformation & Process Automation: automate manual processes using RPA, APIs, low-code/no-code, AI, and analytics.
• Cybersecurity & IT Risk: lead endpoint security, IAM, vulnerability management, backups, incident response, audits.
• Data, BI & Management Reporting: build dashboards, MIS, and production/sales/inventory analytics.
• IT Budget & Vendor Management: manage budget, licensing, procurement, TCO, and ROI.
• IT Governance & Team Development: establish policies, SOPs, documentation, audits, and training plans.
• Business Continuity / DR: own DR strategy, backup validation, testing, and plan reviews.

This is a business-enablement role, not IT support — you will drive reliability, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data, and measurable automation ROI across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure & Operations (15%)– Ensure availability of servers, network, Wi-Fi, endpoints, backups, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure across plants and offices. Run service desk and incident management. KPIs: uptime ≥99.5%; tickets resolved within SLA ≥95%.

ERP & Business Applications (15%)– Own ERP stability, enhancements, integrations, master data, access controls, vendor management, and reporting. KPIs: uptime ≥99.5%; user satisfaction ≥85%; enhancement projects on time/budget ≥90%.

CRM & Application Ecosystem (10%)– Manage third-party CRM and business applications; integrate with ERP; manage licenses, SLAs, and user satisfaction. KPIs: application uptime ≥99.5%; 100% SLA/license compliance.

Plant Automation / IoT / Industry 4.0 (20%)– Identify and implement IoT, sensors, OEE, predictive maintenance, energy monitoring, production dashboards, barcode/RFID. Work jointly with Production, Maintenance, Quality, SCM, and Finance. KPIs: 3–5 Industry 4.0 initiatives/year; ≥80% within budget; documented ROI; measurable OEE/downtime/scrap/energy improvement.

Digital Transformation & Process Automation (10%)– Automate manual processes using RPA, APIs, low-code/no-code, AI, and analytics. KPIs: ≥3 automations/year with documented savings; on-time/budget ≥90%.

Cybersecurity & IT Risk (10%)– Lead endpoint security, firewall, IAM, vulnerability management, backup/DR, phishing awareness, incident response, audits. KPIs: 100% critical vulnerabilities remediated; backup success ≥98%; quarterly restore testing; zero major avoidable incidents; 100% MFA compliance.

Data, BI & Management Reporting (5%)– Build dashboards, MIS, and production/sales/inventory analytics as a single source of truth. KPIs: key dashboards live per schedule; data quality ≥90%.

IT Budget & Vendor Management (5%)– Run annual budget, AMC/licensing, vendor performance, procurement, TCO, and project ROI. KPIs: spend within ±5% of budget; 5–10% cost optimization; vendor SLA compliance ≥95%.

IT Governance & Team Development (5%)– Establish policies, SOPs, documentation, audits, team capability, and project governance. KPIs: 100% process documentation; 100% audit compliance; ≥90% team development plans.

Business Continuity / DR (5%)– Own DR strategy, backup validation, recovery testing, BCP. KPIs: quarterly recovery testing; RTO/RPO met; annual DR plan review.

Requirements
