Job summary

Our Clients is seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee company-wide IT operations, infrastructure, and services, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology support for manufacturing activities.

You will manage the IT team, drive strategy, governance, and risk controls, while partnering with departments to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions and enterprise systems, including ERP. On-site role in Calamba, Laguna.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 8-10 years IT experience with supervisory/managerial background.
• Experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, systems and technical support teams.
• Background in manufacturing/pharma/FMCG/industrial environments is a plus.
• Experience with ERP, network and infrastructure management, cybersecurity and IT project management.
• Strong IT governance, information security, data protection, backup and disaster recovery knowledge.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
• Good leadership, problem solving, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the IT function, including operations, infrastructure, systems, applications and user support.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, procedures and standards aligned with business goals.
• Ensure availability, reliability and security of IT systems, networks, hardware, software and resources.
• Manage day-to-day IT support and ensure timely resolution of issues and requests.
• Oversee IT infrastructure including servers, networks, computers and related equipment.
• Manage business applications and enterprise systems like ERP across the organization.
• Collaborate with departments to identify tech needs and propose solutions.
• Lead IT projects from planning through deployment and post-implementation support.
• Establish cybersecurity, data protection, access control, backup and DR practices.
• Monitor system performance, identify risks and implement preventive measures.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers and contracts including SLAs.
• Prepare and manage IT budget (hardware, software, licenses, maintenance).
• Develop and guide IT team, with performance management and capacity development.

Education

Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Information Systems or related field

8-10 years IT experience with supervisory/managerial background

Role Overview

Oversee the company’s overall IT operations, systems, infrastructure, and technology services to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient support for business and manufacturing operations.

The role will lead the IT team, manage day-to-day IT operations, and work closely with management and different departments to ensure that technology systems and solutions support business requirements and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall IT function, including IT operations, infrastructure, systems, applications, and user support.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, procedures, and standards aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT systems, networks, hardware, software, and other technology resources.
• Oversee day-to-day IT support and ensure timely resolution of technical issues and service requests.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computers, communication systems, and related equipment.
• Oversee business applications and enterprise systems, including ERP and other systems used across the organization.
• Work with various departments to identify technology requirements and recommend appropriate systems, tools, and solutions.
• Manage IT projects from planning and implementation through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Establish and maintain appropriate cybersecurity, data protection, access control, backup, and disaster recovery practices.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential risks, and implement preventive and corrective measures.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners, including contracts, service levels, and deliverables.
• Prepare and manage the IT budget, including hardware, software, licenses, infrastructure, maintenance, and other technology requirements.
• Lead, develop, and provide direction to the IT team, including performance management, workload allocation, and capability development.
• Ensure proper documentation of IT systems, processes, configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Support business continuity and ensure that critical systems and IT services remain operational.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements that can enhance operational efficiency, security, and productivity.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to management regarding IT performance, projects, risks, and technology requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 8-10years of relevant IT experience, with experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, systems, and technical support teams.
• Background in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or other industrial environments is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP/business applications, network and infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and IT project management.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, information security, data protection, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Willing to work onsite in Calamba, Laguna.
