Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced IT Change Manager to lead change management across IT projects and transformation programs. You will develop strategies to minimize disruption and maximize user adoption of new technologies and processes.

You will collaborate with project managers, IT teams, business stakeholders, and end-users to ensure successful implementations, readiness, training, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience in IT Change Management, Organizational Change Management, or Business Transformation.
• Strong understanding of change management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience developing and executing change management strategies, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement programs.
• Hands-on experience conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and change readiness assessments.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs and user adoption initiatives.
• Strong ability to manage resistance to change and influence stakeholders at different organizational levels.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic project environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Change Management Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies aligned with goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders, build relationships, address concerns.
• Communication Management: Create plans to inform stakeholders about progress, changes, and benefits.
• Training & User Adoption: Design and deliver training, guides, tutorials, and hands-on sessions.
• Change Impact Assessment: Identify organizational and user-level changes, risks, and resistance.
• Resistance Management: Develop mitigation strategies to encourage engagement and adoption.
• Change Implementation & Monitoring: Support rollout, track adoption, and KPI metrics.
• Post-Implementation Review: Assess effectiveness and capture lessons learned.
• Project Collaboration: Work with PMs, IT, and stakeholders to integrate change activities.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain plans and provide progress reports to leadership.
