Job summary

BABYSPICE FOOD CORPORATION in Quezon City, Philippines, is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide first-level technical assistance to employees, diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, and ensure smooth operation of IT services.

You will install and configure computers and printing devices, assist with user accounts and security patches, maintain asset records, and escalate complex problems to the IT Manager while supporting IT projects and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets, access permissions, and basic system administration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network and internet connectivity issues.
• Install and update operating systems, applications, antivirus software, and security patches.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, licenses, and software.
• Assist with data backup, recovery, and basic cybersecurity procedures.
• Respond to IT support requests and document issues and resolutions.
• Escalate complex technical problems to the IT Manager or appropriate technical team.
• Assist with IT equipment setup for new employees, meetings, and company events.
• Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT systems and applications.
• Support IT projects, system upgrades, and other technology-related initiatives.
