Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines seeks an IT Area Lead to oversee Transaction Services Technology, covering Account & Cash Management, Pricing & Billing, and Working Capital Solutions. You will shape technical direction, develop engineering talent, and ensure service excellence in a banking technology context.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive agile delivery, and maintain alignment with enterprise architecture while prioritizing reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.

We are seeking an experienced IT Area Lead to oversee our Transaction Services Technology capability, covering Account & Cash Management, Pricing & Billing, and Working Capital Solutions. What You'll Do

Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams

• Build, coach, and retain a highly engaged team of technology professionals.

• Balance short-term business needs with long-term capability and workforce planning.

Shape Technology Strategy and Architecture

• Contribute to technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
• Design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex technical and business challenges.
• Support reliability, resilience, and engineering excellence across the technology landscape.

Keep the Organization Secure and Compliant

• Ensure technology solutions comply with risk, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote strong governance, security controls, and risk management practices.
• Champion a culture of engineering accountability and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Proven track record leading technology teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience driving strategic technology change initiatives.
• Experience managing service delivery and support within matrix organizations.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, SDLC, and engineering practices.

Technical Expertise

• Strong engineering background and technology leadership experience.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of incident, problem, and service management.
• Familiarity with security governance, cyber risk, and technology controls.
