Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Administrator for a contract role in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. You will oversee day-to-day IT systems, networks, and user support to ensure reliable and secure operations across the organisation.

You will monitor network infrastructure, install and maintain servers, manage AD and access controls, run backups/DR, and implement security measures while collaborating with IT leadership on capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT systems and network administration required.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server operating systems and AD management.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, security best practices and firewalls.

Responsibilities

About the role

We're is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to join our growing technology team. This is a contract position based in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. As an IT Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our network and systems infrastructure to ensure smooth business operations. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our IT systems, networks, and user support, working to maximise system reliability and security across the organisation.

What you\'re doing

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers and other network devices

• Install, configure and maintain operating systems, applications and software across the organisation

• Manage user access, accounts and permissions in accordance with company security policies

• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data protection

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network connectivity issues

• Provide technical support to end-users and respond to service requests in a timely manner

• Document system configurations, network diagrams and IT procedures

• Implement and monitor security protocols to protect systems from cyber threats

• Conduct system updates and patches to maintain optimal performance and security

• Collaborate with IT leadership to plan capacity, upgrades and infrastructure improvements

What we\'re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in IT systems and network administration

• Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN technologies

• Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux server operating systems

• Experience with Active Directory, user account management and group policies

• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Familiarity with IT security best practices and firewalls

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA are highly desirable

• Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is advantageous
