Vogue Concepts Inc. is seeking a Security & Network Assistant Officer to safeguard our IT systems and network infrastructure. The role focuses on maintaining 99.9% uptime and delivering comprehensive end-to-end infrastructure support to end users.

The successful candidate will lead infrastructure and security initiatives, coordinate with MIS clients, and drive improvements in performance, reliability, and scalability. Based in Don Chino Roces, Makati City, with potential ITIL advantage.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of IT-related or engineering courses.
• 5 years of supervisory work experience in infrastructure and security.
• ITIL certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensures enterprise-wide server and network systems uptime of 99.9%.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to plan, acquire, set up, configure, implement, and troubleshoot hardware and software for end users.
• Provides day-to-day infrastructure support and ensures maximum system uptime.
• Manages backups of systems and databases with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitors IT infrastructure and network services including communication devices.

Job description

The role of Security & Network Assistant Officer is critical to maintaining the security and integrity of an organization's computer systems and networks.

Ensures that all enterprise-wide server and network systems are up and running 99.9 % of the time. This position is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of computer networks and for providing all infrastructure support for the company.

• Ensures proper coordination with all relevant parties to plan, acquire, source, set up, configure, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with hardware and software concerning end users.

• Ensures maximum uptime of all systems.

• Provides end-to-end infrastructure support.

• Ensures guaranteed service levels are met.

• Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting different server platforms running on different server hardware.

• Monitoring & support of I.T. infrastructure and network services, including communication devices.

• Managing and tracking complete and accurate backups of systems and databases.

• Supervises and participates in the study of operations and procedures, and recommends changes to improve methods, service levels, and operational efficiency.

• Identifies required changes & customizations of the systems and communicates such changes to MIS clients.

• Provides day-to-day project support for operational applications.

• Analyzes, installs, and supports patches, upgrades, and performance enhancements.

• Prepares recommendations on performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

• Conducts training and knowledge transfer as needed.

• Maintains current and accurate inventory of all hardware and software resources

• Assist in disaster recovery preparation, planning, and testing.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a graduate of the following IT-related or engineering courses

  • BS Computer Engineering (BSCPE)

  • BS Electronic and Communication Engineering (BSECE)

  • BS Electric Engineering (BSEE)

  • BS Computer Science (BSCS)

  • BS Information Technology (BSIT)

• With 5 years of supervisory work experience in Infrastructure and Security

• Experience in the same industry is an advantage.

• ITIL certification an advantage
