Job Description

The IT Security Administrator’s main role is to support theSecurity Operations, be the first responder to cyber incidents and threats, aswell as implement and execute all duties in line with existing IT SecurityPrograms, policies, and procedures as instructed by the Director, IT SecurityRisk & Compliance.

The IT SecurityAdministrator is responsible for ensuring that the company's digital andcomputing assets are protected from unauthorized access and malware infection.This includes securing both online and on-prem infrastructures, analyzingmetrics and data to filter out suspicious activity, monitoring technicalsecurity posture across the infrastructure, and finding and mitigating risksbefore breaches occur.

Requirements

Experience Required:

• At least one (1) year of working experience inthe related field is required for this position
  

Key Competencies and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or anyrelated IT discipline
• The idealcandidate will need to have a passion for IT Security and Informationtechnology.
• Understandingof security concepts, including malware, intrusion detection, risk analysis,and threat/vulnerability management.
• Goodknowledge of Infra Security, Operating Systems, virtualization, networkarchitecture, and cloud technologies.
• Goodknowledge of Network Security, TCP/IP, and OSI layers.
• Knowledge of MicrosoftOffice productivity tools, business applications, and monitoring applications
• Knowledgeof EDR, AV, SIEM, WAF, Device Control and Patching Systems, Scanning Tools,and 0365 Security.
• Diligentattention to customer satisfaction, a high level of service orientation,professionalism
• Provenability to work independently is a key requirement.
• Professionalconduct and communication to work respectfully with high-profile employees
• Knowledgeof security processes and procedures relating to change management.
• Security + Certificationsare preferred but not required.
