ISO Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and strategic ISO Coordinator to serve as the Management Representative and champion of our Quality Management System (QMS). This pivotal role goes beyond maintenance, focusing on the continuous improvement and strategic integration of our ISO 9001:2015 framework. You will provide leadership, direction, and governance, ensuring that quality principles are embedded in every process and that our plant operates at the highest level of excellence and compliance. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, an effective communicator, and a detail-oriented professional.

Key Responsibilities

QMS Leadership & Strategic Governance

• Act as the Management Representative, providing strategic direction for the QMS and serving as the primary liaison with external certification bodies.
• Establish, implement, and maintain the plant’s Quality Policy, Objectives, and procedures in full compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
• Lead the annual review of the Quality Manual, Quality Objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), presenting findings to senior management.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and implement robust management systems for risk management and governance.
• Facilitate and coordinate Risk-Based Thinking activities across the plant to proactively identify and address risks and opportunities.
• Monitor the Context of the Organization and drive the Continuous Improvement Plan, fostering a culture of excellence.

Audit & Corrective Action Management

• Develop and execute the annual internal audit schedule, facilitating internal auditor meetings and assigning responsibilities.
• Lead internal audits and manage the end-to-end Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of non-conformities.

Document Control & Communication

• Chair the Document Control function, ensuring the proper registration, storage, and accuracy of all QMS documents in both physical and digital formats.
• Write, communicate, and present detailed internal audit reports, risk assessments, and policy updates to all levels of the organization.
• Assist management in educating employees on the QMS, disseminating quality information effectively throughout the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a similar role, directly managing and representing an ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and Risk-Based Thinking principles.
• Demonstrated experience in document control management and conducting internal audits.
• Strong leadership and facilitation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management and team leads.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
