Job summary

American Wire and Cable Co., Inc. is seeking a Quality Management System Specialist to support the Quality Management Representative in administering the QMS and ensuring ISO 9001 compliance. This role focuses on audits, document control, records management, and continual improvement.

You will lead the annual Internal Quality Audit, manage corrective actions, and liaise with the certifying body. Travel and onsite work in Parañaque City are expected as part of responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related field.
• At least 3 years of QMS experience, including Internal Quality Auditor Team Leader and Document Control responsibilities.
• Lead Auditor Certification is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 QMS requirements, internal auditing, document control, and continuous improvement.
• Strong report writing, presentation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quality management documentation.
• Willing to work onsite in Parañaque City.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual IQA as Team Leader to assess conformance to ISO 9001 and identify improvement areas.
• Issue CARs, confirm corrections and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Liaise with Certifying Body on ISO certification, surveillance, and renewal audits.
• Act as Document Controller and Archive Custodian; manage the DCC and records control.
• Create and maintain databases on the DCC and Archive; submit monthly and annual reports to the QMR.
• Serve as secretariat for Management Review; schedule, collate presentations, record minutes.
• Audit external providers to ensure outsourced materials and services stay within the QMS.
• Conduct training on ISO 9001, QMS, Document Control and Records Management, and QMS NEO for new hires.
• Identify areas for improvement and submit proposals to the Continual Improvement Program.
• Contribute to attainment of the QMS Department's quality objectives, budget, programs, projects, and activities.
