Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in Manila is seeking a Manager for the Delegated Investment Solutions Operations team to oversee investment operations for pension fund clients. You will work with a seasoned team including custodians and investment managers to ensure accurate, timely processing and strong controls.

A focus on cash reconciliations, reporting, and process improvements is essential. The role requires five years of relevant experience, excellent communication, and expertise in Excel/PowerPoint

Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant work experience, ideally in a client-service oriented environment (investment management/custodian back-office operations)
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in daily cash reconciliations, with the ability to investigate and resolve breaks accurately and in a timely manner
• Interest in financial investing and the investment field
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow is key
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable and successful in a team environment
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to create and produce dynamic reports and spreadsheets with accuracy and clarity
• Enjoy working with numbers and compiling data, using your mathematical and analytical skills to maximize your efforts and thorough work ethic
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage workload effectively, and demonstrate effective time management skills as well as ability to self-motivate
• Amenable to EMEA working hours

Responsibilities

• Perform investment operations functions for pension fund clients, coordinating with operations colleagues, custodians and investment managers
• Handle cash management, dealing with custodians/investment managers/administrators, and invoice reconciliation and payment instructions
• Provide monitoring and compliance support; assist with risk management through documented procedures and controls
• Trade matching and contributing to the dedicated operations team servicing designated clients
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency within client teams
• Ensure timely delivery of reports and deliverables that meet stakeholder expectations
• Review reports to ensure output and processes align with excellence standards and procedures
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations proactively
• Document processes accurately and completely at all times
