Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in Manila is seeking an Analyst in the Manila Investments Team. You will build an understanding of client reporting needs and work with experienced investment professionals across diverse teams.

You will develop as a reporting specialist, take ownership of reporting for large clients, and broaden skills through training and project work, aligning with Willis Towers Watson standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; at least two years’ relevant experience.
• Strong organization and time management; ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent business English communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with analytical approach.
• Proficiency in Excel and managing static data.
• Willing to work APAC hours.

Responsibilities

• Use appropriate tools to produce/review fund monitoring reports for our clients.
• Data collation and management using in-house and external databases.
• Production/review of analytical outputs such as market summaries and internal quantitative information.
• Ensure draft reports meet quality standards (Excellence and audit controls).
• Support ad-hoc administration and project requirements within the Manila Investments team.
• Support projects or specific work streams.

The Main Duties And Responsibilities Are

• Use appropriate tools to produce/review fund monitoring reports for our clients. Reports may include scheme-specifics, market summaries, manager research, stock-level risk analysis, risk budgeting and more
• Data collation and management; using both our in-house and externally provided database systems
• Production/review of analytical and generic outputs such as market summaries and other internal quantitative information products, and other ad hoc reports
• Ensure that production of draft reports complies with quality standards (Excellence and audit controls)
• Supporting ad-hoc administration and project requirements within the Manila Investments team
• Supporting projects or specific work streams

Qualifications

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required; with at least two years of relevant work experience
• Good organisation and time management skills, with a proven ability to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines
• Proven effective oral and written communication skills in business English
• Ability to work on own initiative when required, as well as in a team with enthusiasm to challenge processes and work with the team to effect change.
• Confidence to communicate and work with people at all levels in a variety of roles, locations and functions
• Detail and results orientated, with a logical and analytical method of working
• Knowledge of institutional investors is desirable but not essential.
• Proficient user of Excel and experience in maintaining/populating static data is required.
• Desire to work in the investment industry
• Must be amenable to APAC working hours
