WTW in Manila is seeking a Manager for our Delegated Investment Solutions operations team. You will lead a focused operations group serving pension fund clients, ensuring timely and accurate investment processing and reporting.

Working with custody and investment managers, you will drive process improvements, manage deadlines, and build strong relationships with stakeholders while upholding WTW's standards for excellence and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant work experience in investment management/custodian back-office operations (client-service oriented).
• Strong knowledge of daily cash reconciliations and ability to investigate breaks accurately and timely.
• Interest in financial investing and the investment field.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

We are currently looking for a Manager for our Delegated Investment Solutions operations team in the Manila Office.

The team is part of the wider Global Investment Operations group, of 160 colleagues, whose core focus is on supporting and servicing the needs of our Investments business and clients. Working with a large, experienced team will allow you to learn about many aspects of the Investment industry whilst building your knowledge of the third-party service providers that we work with.

The focus of the role is to perform investment operations functions for predominantly pension fund clients while working closely with operations colleagues, custodians, and investment managers to ensure the investment operation functions are completed accurately and on a timely basis. This role requires a team-player who is numbers and detail oriented with good knowledge of investment management or custodian back-office operations. The Investment Operations world is wide ranging and includes some exciting challenges.

The Role Will Entail The Following

Working knowledge of investment management/custodian back-office operations including:

• Cash management
• Dealing with custodians/investment managers/administrators
• Invoice reconciliation and payment instruction
• Monitoring and compliance support
• Procedures and controls (risk management)
• Trade matching
• Work as part of dedicated operations team providing a variety of services to designated clients
• Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes

Project Management

• Ensure timely delivery of reports and other deliverables that meet stakeholder expectations at a minimum
• Perform review of reports, ensuring that output and processes adhere to WTW’s excellence standards and procedures
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage expectations proactively and anticipate and address issues in a timely and effective manner
• Ensure processes are documented correctly and completely at all times

Performance Objectives

• Clients – work with team and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and meets quality standards
• Financial/Business KPIs – maintain accurate time records
• People – build relationships internally and collaborate effectively with team

Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant work experience, ideally gained in a client-service oriented environment (investment management/custodian back-office operations)
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in daily cash reconciliations, with the ability to investigate and resolve breaks accurately and in a timely manner
• Interest in financial investing and the investment field
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow is key
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable and successful in a team environment
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Power Point to create and produce dynamics reports and spreadsheets with accuracy and clarity
• Enjoy working with numbers and compiling data, using your mathematical and analytical skills to maximize your efforts and thorough work ethic
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage workload effectively, and demonstrate effective time management skills as well as ability to self-motivate
• Amenable to EMEA working hours
