Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• CFA charterholder or progress toward CFA designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in equities portfolio management or related investment roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Familiarity with multiple asset classes and macroeconomic factors.

Our Financial Markets and Wealth Management team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Portfolio Manager - (Trust and Asset Management Team).

In this role, you will manage multiple equity portfolios and develop investment strategies driven by in-depth market research, financial analysis, and a strong understanding of diverse asset classes. What the role will entail

• Manage and optimize multiple equity portfolios, ensuring investment decisions align with risk-adjusted return objectives and overall portfolio mandates.
• Conduct in-depth fundamental, quantitative, and market research to identify investment opportunities, assess risks, and support portfolio strategy.
• Analyze financial statements, valuation metrics, and company performance to develop informed investment recommendations.
• Monitor macroeconomic trends and cross-asset market developments to uncover diversification and investment opportunities.
• Evaluate portfolio performance and risk exposures, implementing appropriate strategies to manage and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and present investment insights, market updates, and performance reports to senior leadership, investment committees, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and investment governance standards.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA charterholder or progress toward CFA designation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in equities portfolio management, asset management, wealth management, trust banking, hedge funds, stock brokerage proprietary trading, or institutional investing.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable investment insights.
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, corporate finance, valuation methodologies, market dynamics, and investment management principles.
• Familiarity with multiple asset classes and a solid understanding of macroeconomic factors influencing financial markets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey investment strategies and recommendations to diverse stakeholders; familiarity with the Trust industry is an advantage.
