Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Purpose

To manage and oversee all warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory control, cost-effective operations, safety compliance, and timely support to business operations, while leading and developing the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management

• Plan, organize, and manage overall warehouse operations.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and material flow.
• Ensure effective use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Control inventory levels to meet operational requirements.
• Reduce stock losses, damages, and obsolete inventory.
• Oversee cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Analyze and control warehouse operating costs (labor, equipment, space).

People Management

• Lead, manage, and develop Warehouse Supervisors and warehouse staff.
• Plan manpower requirements based on workload and business demand.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training.
• Enforce company policies, discipline, and labor compliance.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company standards.
• Monitor warehouse safety programs and accident prevention.
• Support quality systems such as 5S, ISO, HACCP, or other applicable standards.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with local labor and safety regulations.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Management.
• Prepare operational and management reports for senior management.
• Support business expansion, new warehouse setup, or system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Proven experience managing warehouse teams and operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse layout planning, inventory control, and WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Good command of English (spoken & written) for communication and reporting
