Job summary

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Consumables & Non-Accountable Assistant to support issuing and delivering stationery, office supplies, bank forms, and related logistics for the Calamba, Laguna unit. The role also assists inventory control, stock monitoring, and related administrative activities.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management (Logistics) or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Power BI is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Processes requisitions lodged by requesting units through the requesting tool.
• Receives, examines and physically secures deliveries from vendors.
• Prepares issuances through the system and ensures timely delivery of requested stationery, supplies and bank forms to the requesting units.
• Assists in monitoring stock levels of stationery, supplies and bank forms and recommends reorders through the system when necessary.
• Maintains and updates inventory on stationeries, supplies and bank forms.
• Conducts periodic physical inventory of stationery, supplies and bank forms in stock.
• Assists in proper disposal of obsolete items.
• Collates and validates billing statements and delivery receipts including availed freight and forwarding services.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
