GOFRESH SUPERMART is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory team in Ermita, Manila City, Metro Manila. As an Inventory Clerk, you will maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and ensure efficient flow of goods across our maritime and shipping operations.

The role supports procurement activities, requires 4-year college education and experience with inventory systems and MS Office, and involves coordinating with warehouse teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4-year college degree required.
• Experience as Inventory Clerk or similar in logistics, manufacturing, or maritime environments.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record incoming inventory and shipments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in systems/databases.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Label and organize stock for easy identification and retrieval.
• Process inventory documents: receipts, delivery notes, stock movement reports.
• Support procurement with PO tracking and supplier communications.
• Monitor stock levels and alert management to shortages.

About the role

GOFRESH SUPERMART is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Inventory Clerk to join our Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory team. This is a full-time position based in Ermita, Manila City, Metro Manila. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and goods across our maritime and shipping operations. This position is essential to our supply chain operations, directly supporting the company's ability to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and recording incoming inventory and shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with purchase orders


• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records using inventory management systems and databases


• Conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies between physical stock and system records


• Organising and labelling inventory items in designated storage areas to ensure easy identification and retrieval


• Processing and filing inventory documentation, including receipts, delivery notes and stock movement reports


• Assisting with the preparation of inventory reports and providing data to support procurement decisions


• Monitoring stock levels and alerting management to low inventory situations or potential shortages


• Coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment


• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in storage and inventory areas in compliance with company policies


• Supporting procurement activities by tracking purchase orders and managing supplier communications

What we're looking for

• College graduate of 4 years (except education)


• Proven experience working as an Inventory Clerk, warehouse associate, or similar role in a manufacturing, logistics, or maritime environment


• Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)


• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping


• Ability to lift and handle heavy items safely and comply with workplace health and safety standards


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment


• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including standing for extended periods and moving between storage areas


• Familiarity with maritime, shipping, or logistics operations is preferred but not essential


• Reliability and punctuality in attendance and task completion
