About the role

Golden Century Marketing is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our team in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management systems. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for tracking, organising and managing stock levels across our operations, ensuring that materials and products are readily available to support our business objectives. This position is fundamental to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to serve our customers effectively.

Key responsibilities

1. Recording and processing incoming and outgoing inventory transactions in the inventory management system
2. Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of inventory records
3. Organising and labelling inventory items for easy identification and retrieval
4. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of storage areas and warehouses
5. Identifying and reporting discrepancies between physical stock and system records
6. Assisting with the receiving, storing and dispatching of goods
7. Preparing inventory reports and documentation for management review
8. Communicating with other departments regarding stock availability and inventory needs
9. Following all safety and health protocols in the warehouse environment
10. Supporting the procurement team with inventory-related tasks and data collection

What we're looking for

1. College diploma or equivalent qualification
2. Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations or a similar role
3. Proficiency in using inventory management software and computer systems
4. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Basic mathematical skills for counting and reconciling stock
7. Physical capability to lift and move items of varying weights
8. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
9. Reliability and punctuality in attendance
10. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and practices is highly valued
11. Experience with spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel is preferred
