Responsibilities

  • Conduct periodic and surprise inventory audits in stores, warehouses, and distribution centers.
  • Verify inventory transactions, stock movements, and adjustments for accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory variances and coordinate with operations and warehouse teams for resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Prepare detailed audit findings, reports, and recommendations for management review.
  • Monitor slow-moving, damaged, or obsolete stocks and support corrective action planning.
  • Assist in improving inventory systems, processes, and audit checklists.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations during month-end and year-end counts.
  • Support training and awareness sessions on proper inventory practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all audit-related activities.

The Inventory Compliance and Audit Specialist is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of inventory records and processes. This role conducts regular audits, identifies discrepancies, and recommends corrective actions to improve inventory management and control across all locations.
