The Inventory Assistant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting inventory control activities across all locations (in-store and off-site warehouse). The role handles day-to-day inventory-related tasks, including stock movement monitoring, inventory audits and cycle counts, and documentation, while ensuring compliance with inventory control procedures. The position also coordinates closely with warehouse, merchandising, and store teams to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and support efficient merchandise flow and business operations.
Support the creation of articles, Purchase Orders (POs), and Purchase Info Records (PIRs) in SAP, including maintenance of batch-managed articles.
Process and monitor stock movements between the warehouse and the boutique through Stock Transport Orders (STO), ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring stock levels are consistently monitored, tracked, and reported.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to validate the accuracy of actual stocks versus system data.
Help manage the investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies between physical counts and recorded inventory levels, collaborating with warehouse, boutique, and relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with IT and technical support teams to resolve SAP data issues and system problems.
Perform other tasks or responsibilities as may be assigned by Management.
Bachelor's Degree in any field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in merchandising, inventory management, or retail operations.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
