As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing valuable insights that support informed business decisions.
What You’ll Do
Inventory Monitoring & Control
- Manage and monitor annual and monthly physical inventory count schedules across stores and locations.
- Coordinate physical count activities, permits, and requirements for boutiques and department stores.
- Track completion status and ensure inventory count activities are executed accurately and on schedule.
Inventory Analysis & Reporting
- Investigate, analyze, and report inventory discrepancies before and after physical counts.
- Prepare detailed inventory variance reports and provide insights to support corrective actions.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for inventory improvement and loss prevention.
Sales & Inventory Reconciliation
- Process and validate weekly and monthly sales and inventory reports.
- Monitor inventory movements, stock balances, warehouse transactions, and clearance activities.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across inventory and sales records.
Process Improvement & Operational Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues and improve inventory accuracy.
- Support initiatives that enhance inventory controls, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
- Provide timely and accurate inventory information to support business planning and decision-making.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Internal Audit.
- At least 1 year in fashion retail.
- Strong analytical and planning skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in analyzing inventory reports.
- Familiarity with POS systems (not required).
