Job summary

Top Access Infinity Inc. is seeking an Inventory Assistant to compile and maintain stock records, verify inventories, and prepare balance reports. You will receive deliveries, organize stock, file receipts, and use inventory systems to track orders, returns, and supplies.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent, strong math and data-analysis skills, and proficiency with Excel. Experience in retail/inventory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of stock quantity, type, and value.
• Maintain logs and verify inventory against records.

• Receive deliveries, unload, organize stock, and file receipts.
• Create shipping labels and submit replenishment orders.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Assist in reducing shrink and improving inventory control.

Job Description

• Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of
  material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in
  establishment .Counts warehouse inventory for official
  warehouse records.

• Maintains logs of all products and supplies. Checks actual
  warehouse inventory against computerized records.

• Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock
  and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and
  reports reasons for discrepancies.

• Receives store deliveries. Assists in unloading inventory from
  delivery truck. Organizes inventory in stock room. Files all
  delivery and inventory receipts. Uses inventory system to
  keep track of orders, returns, and supply.

• Writes up inventory reports detailing any overstock or missing
  items.

• Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and
  shortages.

• Ensures that stock room is clean and well organized. Moves
  and restructures organization of stockroom to make space for
  new inventory.

• Assists in cleaning and organizing the warehouse upon
  closing.

• Packs up items for delivery and creates shipping labels.

• Submits orders for replenishment of inventory.

• Retrieves products from stock room for Service Center
  branches.

• Reviews shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.

• Assists warehouse or inventory supervisor in devising new
  ways to reduce shrink and maintain inventory control.

Job Qualification:

• Mathematics skills – inventory assistants have to be good with
  numbers and figures because they compare prices, count and
  audit stock, and do other calculations on a regular basis

• Computer literacy – because inventory assistants must work
  with spreadsheets and other computer software, some computer
  skills is a must

• Data analysis capabilities - Basic knowledge and understanding
  of smartphone is much preferred. Good at Excel.

• Personal skills-Strong observation skills and
  carefulness. Applicants with experience in packaging and shipping
  will be given priority.

• Bachelor degree- Bachelor’s degree in business management or
  equivalent work experience. Experience in retail and/or inventory
  sector is preferred
