Job Summary
The Inventory Allocation Analyst is responsible for supporting the allocation and replenishment function by assisting in stock distribution, inventory monitoring, system updates, and reporting tasks to ensure product availability across stores and channels.
The role helps ensure that inventory is properly allocated based on store demand, sales performance, and stock levels, supporting overall sales performance and inventory efficiency in a fast‑paced fashion retail environment.
This position works closely with the Allocation & Control Supervisor, Merchandise Planning team, Warehouse, and Store Operations to support smooth inventory flow and execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Allocation & Replenishment Support
- Assist in executing daily allocation and replenishment tasks.
- Support distribution of inventory to stores based on stock plans and sales performance.
- Help process stock transfers and replenishment requests.
- Monitor basic store stock levels and highlight potential stock issues.
2. Inventory Monitoring & Data Support
- Update and maintain allocation and replenishment data in systems.
- Assist in tracking stock availability, in-stock levels, and inventory movement.
- Support preparation of inventory reports and trackers.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory-related data entries.
3. Store & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Store Operations for delivery and stock-related concerns.
- Assist in resolving basic inventory or stock discrepancies.
- Support communication regarding stock availability and replenishment schedules.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare routine allocation and replenishment reports.
- Assist in maintaining allocation logs, trackers, and system records.
- Support documentation of stock movements and allocation activities.
5. Process Support & Compliance
- Follow established allocation and replenishment procedures and guidelines.
- Support system testing and updates when required.
- Assist in implementing process improvements as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, supply chain, or merchandising support.
- Experience in fashion retail is an advantage.
