Job summary

Makro Philippines is seeking a Replenishment Planning Supervisor to lead inventory replenishment across stores, DCs, and FCs, guiding a team of replenishment planners and analysts. You will monitor stock, analyze sales trends, and drive efficient replenishment to support sales targets while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.

You will oversee safety stock, reorder points, and inventory levels; collaborate with Merchandising, Buying, Supply Chain, Logistics and Store Operations;

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in inventory management, replenishment planning, demand planning, supply chain, or retail merchandising.
  • At least 2-3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience in multi-store retail, omnichannel, or e-commerce operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of replenishment plans for stores, DCs, and FCs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock to achieve target service levels.
  • Analyze sales trends, forecasts, seasonality, and promotions to determine replenishment requirements.
  • Manage replenishment parameters including safety stock, reorder points, minimum and maximum inventory levels.
  • Identify and address stock shortages, slow-moving inventory, and overstock situations.
  • Ensure optimal inventory investment while balancing availability and working capital.
  • Supervise and coach Replenishment Planners and Inventory Analysts.
  • Establish team goals, performance metrics, and development plans.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support employee growth.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and process standardization within the team.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Buying, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Store Operations teams.
  • Align replenishment with promotions, launches, and seasonal changes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to address constraints.
  • Support S&OP and inventory review meetings.
  • Monitor inventory health through regular analysis and reporting.
  • Evaluate replenishment performance and recommend actions.
  • Generate reports on turnover, fill rates, stockouts, aged inventory, and forecast accuracy.
  • Present inventory insights and recommendations to management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve replenishment efficiency and inventory optimization.
  • Participate in automation and system enhancement initiatives.
  • Implement best practices in inventory planning and replenishment management.
  • Support continuous improvement projects focused on service level, inventory accuracy, and cost reduction.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of inventory planning parameters within ERP and replenishment systems.
  • Utilize forecasting and replenishment tools to support decision-making.
  • Validate data integrity and investigate discrepancies impacting replenishment performance.

The Replenishment Planning Supervisor is responsible for leading inventory replenishment and stock allocation activities to ensure optimal product availability across retail stores, distribution centers (DCs), and fulfillment centers (FCs). This role manages a team of replenishment planners, oversees demand and inventory analysis, and ensures timely and cost-effective replenishment to support sales targets while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities
Replenishment Planning & Inventory Management
  • Lead the development and execution of replenishment plans for stores, DCs, and FCs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to achieve target service levels.
  • Analyze sales trends, forecasts, seasonality, and promotional activities to determine replenishment requirements.
  • Manage replenishment parameters including safety stock, reorder points, minimum and maximum inventory levels.

Demand & Supply Coordination
  • Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Buying, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Store Operations teams.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to address supply constraints and expedite critical orders.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and inventory review meetings.
Inventory Analysis & Reporting
  • Monitor inventory health through regular analysis and reporting.
  • Evaluate replenishment performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Generate reports on inventory turnover, fill rates, stockouts, aged inventory, and forecast accuracy.
  • Present inventory insights and recommendations to management.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve replenishment efficiency and inventory optimization.
  • Participate in automation and system enhancement initiatives.
  • Implement best practices in inventory planning and replenishment management.

Qualifications
Education
