Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and replenish inventory levels across DCs and company-owned stores.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels against target inventory days.
  • Aging inventory analysis and move-out planning; monitor inventory exposure in warehouses and supplier stocks.
  • Collaborate with Trade, Portfolio Management, Procurement, and Distribution Center Operations to synchronize inventory needs.
  • Perform other duties as delegated by supervisor or management.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

The primary objective of the Inventory Planning Analyst is to ensure that the right amount of stock is available at the right time, to meet customer demand, all the while minimizing excess inventory and associated carrying costs. This role involves engaging in strategic planning, predictive analysis, and partnering with diverse departments to fine-tune inventory levels and maintain an effective supply chain processes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Monitor and replenish inventory levels on DCs (including supplier's warehouse) and Company Owned Stores to:

    • Maintain optimal stock levels against target inventory days
    • Prevent overages while considering cost-effectiveness.
    • Sustain Serve Rate
  • Demand monitoring and analysis including but not limited to seasonality, program offtakes, transition to alternates, new introductory item.
  • Aging inventory analysis (near-ex), move-out plan, and inventory exposure monitoring in both warehouses, including stocks at suppliers' warehouses, and Company Owned Stores
  • Working with various departments such as Trade and Portfolio Management, Procurement, and Distribution Center Operations to synchronize inventory needs on both DCs.
  • Performs other similar duties as delegated by the Immediate Supervisor, Division Head, or Management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline pertinent to assigned duties.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a role focused on demand and/or inventory planning. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for the position.
  • Experience with third-party inventory planning tools is advantageous. Proven proficiency in statistics, strategic planning, with a comprehension of their financial and operational implications.
