Inventory Accountant: R&D & WIP Controls

Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems invites applications for Inventory Accountant to oversee inventory accounting functions and coordinate the Quantity Accuracy Program (QAP) for AMPI and AML. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate valuation and reporting of inventories.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, strong planning and analytical skills, and attention to detail. CPA is a plus, with at least 1 year of inventory experience in a finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• CPA license an advantage but not necessary.
• At least 1 year relevant work experience in Inventory.
• Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.
• Accuracy and attention to details.
• Takes initiative to make improvements.

Responsibilities

• Performs quarterly R&D lot reviews (AML).
• Performs quarterly random verification of on-hold lots or inventories for proper disposition (WIP/INV - AML).
• Responsible for the monthly Wafer Bank Foundry lots review (every 3rd week of the month - AML).
• Conducts verification of monthly Polar RMA status with DYE team (AML).
• Performs monthly freight accrual (AML).
• Reviews and approves Materials Inventory Scrap Review request in E-Forms (AMPI).
• Monitors PHA lot(s) with negative quantity(ies) and coordinates with Logistics team the required Oracle transaction (AMPI).
• Prepares monthly BU Reclass for Inventory-related accounts (AMPI).
• Prepares monthly tape & reel analysis (AMPI).
• Prepares monthly RM consumption analysis (AMPI).
• Supports adhoc projects, and other duties as assigned
