JO No. 16817 | Intermediate BIM / Revit Drafter
Status: Full-Time | 40 hrs/week, 8 hrs/day, 5 days/week
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Manila Time
Position Overview
We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Intermediate BIM / Revit Drafter to support our growing project workload across Australian building projects.
BIM and 3D modelling will be the primary focus of the position.
The ideal candidate is someone who is already fluent in BIM/Revit, can work independently from drawings and instructions, and takes personal responsibility for producing accurate documentation the first time.
This is a hand-on production role rather than a management position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Produce accurate drawings and documentation from architectural and engineering information.
- Interpret project drawings and instructions and translate them into accurate BIM models.
- Maintain project views, sheets, levels, drawing numbers, titles, and documentation.
- Assist with structural BIM modelling and documentation.
- Review drawings and models for obvious errors, inconsistencies, and coordination issues.
- Apply established BIM standards, workflows, and documentation protocols.
- Coordinate with the senior BIM/Revit drafter and existing Australian drafting team.
- Assist with 2D drafting and CAD documentation when required.
- Provide additional BIM modelling support during periods of high workload or when other BIM resources are unavailable.
- Maintain consistent drawing quality across repetitive and multi-level projects.
- Work independently once project requirements and instructions have been provided.
- Take ownership of the accuracy and completeness of assigned work.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with BIM and 3D modelling, preferably using Autodesk Revit.
- Demonstrated experience producing professional BIM documentation.
- Australian BIM/Revit experience is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of structural/building elements and construction principles.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify obvious coordination and constructability issues.
- Ability to work independently with clear instructions.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD / 2D drafting is advantageous.
- Willingness to support other BIM/drafting activities when required.
