Job summary

Remote Staff, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced BIM / Revit Drafter to support complex Australian projects from a hands-on, senior position. You will develop accurate BIM models and documentation while helping to establish BIM workflows and standards.

The role requires extensive experience with BIM/3D modelling, advanced Autodesk Revit skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision on large-scale projects. Collaboration with architectural and engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dedicated BIM / 3D modelling experience.
• Strong experience with Autodesk Revit for structural projects.
• Experience producing Australian-standard structural documentation.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models using Autodesk Revit for structural projects.
• Translate drawings and specs into accurate BIM models and documentation.
• Produce structural drawings, schedules, views, and project information.
• Set up project models, browsers, views, sheets, and titles.
• Review models for accuracy, consistency, and constructability.
• Coordinate structural information with architectural and other disciplines.
• Apply BIM standards and workflows, and ensure quality control.
• Develop and improve BIM protocols for the drafting team.
• Provide guidance to intermediate BIM drafters and maintain modeling quality.
