SPX Express is seeking a Control Tower Coordinator to monitor and oversee daily truck and air movement across SPX Provincial Hubs and Distribution Centers in South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The role requires deep knowledge of Philippine geography, route planning, and port operations to ensure on-time transfers and efficient transport execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in logistics operations, transport monitoring, control tower operations, linehaul coordination, or air cargo operations.
• Strong understanding of Philippine geography, provincial routes, and major ports across South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and transport monitoring systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and shifting operational environment; location in Calamba or Cabuyao.

Responsabilités

• Monitor real-time truck movement and dispatch activities from Sorting Centers to SPX Provincial Hubs and Distribution Centers to ensure transfers are executed within target schedules and service levels.
• Track shipment movement, truck departures, arrival times, route compliance, delays, and turnaround performance across multiple regions.
• Coordinate with Sorting Centers, Provincial Hubs, Distribution Centers, linehaul teams, transport vendors, and drivers to ensure smooth transfer operations.
• Optimize truck routing and dispatch planning to improve transport utilization and reduce delays.
• Monitor vessel schedules, inter-island transfers, port congestion, weather disturbances, and road conditions affecting timelines and cargo movement.
• Monitor air transfer operations and shipment statuses from Manila to provincial hubs, including flight departures and arrivals.
• Analyze operational reports and KPIs and generate daily/weekly/monthly dashboards for management visibility.
• Escalate incidents and support contingency plans and recovery actions during peak volumes or disruptions.
• Develop monitoring tools, trackers, and reporting systems to strengthen visibility and decision-making.
