Amazing Care is looking for a highly organized Intake Coordinator to support our growing Intake team in Aurora. You will manage a high volume of referrals, collect and verify client information, and coordinate with clinical managers to support onboarding and service delivery.

This role requires attention to detail, prioritization, and clear communication in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with opportunities for growth in skills and career trajectory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a metrics-driven, high-volume role (intake, admissions, call center, or similar).
• Experience with payer portals, Medicaid portals, and referral portals is preferred.
• Strong documentation, accuracy, and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of incoming referrals and create client profiles in the EMR.
• Ensure intake performance metrics related to volume, turnaround time, and accuracy.
• Coordinate with clinical managers to align referrals with staffing and capacity.
• Verify client information, eligibility, and benefits per payer guidelines.
• Maintain professional communication with referral sources and internal teams.
