Job summary

Nestlé Integrated Business Services Manila, Inc. is seeking an Operational Risk Specialist to deliver end-to-end risk and insurance operations for assigned markets, ensuring accurate renewals, premium payments, claims handling, forecasting, and reporting.

The role collaborates with Treasury, Finance, Legal, and Market stakeholders, as well as external insurers and brokers, to ensure compliance with internal controls, global risk standards, and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk & Insurance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Risk Operations, Insurance Services, Finance Shared Services, or BPO environments.
• Experience supporting international or regional markets is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of risk and insurance operations, including renewals, premiums, claims, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes, internal controls, and governance standards.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and global finance tools.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; exposure to automation, dashboards, or database management is a plus.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports, forecasts, and reconciliations under tight timelines.
• Delivers results with high accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly in English.
• Proactively identifies risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
• Comfortable handling escalations and cross-functional coordination.
• Demonstrates a continuous improvement and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance renewals and premium calculations, data submission in global risk systems.
• Oversee COI management, ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate insurance invoice posting and payment tracking with S2P teams.
• Prepare and analyze insurance premium forecasts for stakeholders.
• Manage insurance claims handling with proper documentation.
• Maintain risk and insurance data repositories for audits.
• Prepare premium allocation and amortization files, including journal entries.
• Validate property values, locations, ownership data, and coordinate CFO approvals.
• Support Y+1 premium forecasting, applying rate increases.
• Address escalated insurance and risk issues with clear analysis.
• Conduct governance calls with markets and internal partners.
• Provide training and governance guidance on risk and insurance processes.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and emerging services.
