Job summary

Aon is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Tester in Makati to join the delivery team for insurance applications. You will analyze requirements, create test plans for placement, policy administration, quoting, rating, underwriting and insurer portals, and ensure quality across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with analysts, developers and business teams, execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing, and uphold QA standards while supporting production deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
• Proven experience as a software quality assurance tester in the technology industry - minimum 3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, types of testing (functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, UAT) and SDLC.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, process flows, user stories and functional specifications for insurance applications to generate a comprehensive test plan.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure complete coverage of feature acceptance criteria and regression scenarios.
• Execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing for new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
• Ensure QA adherence to testing standards, quality guidelines and best practices when planning, scheduling, prioritising and tracking test items.
• Support Business teams during User Acceptance Testing.
• Support Production deployments and verification tasks.
