Job summary

Aon is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to join our global team. You will analyze requirements, write robust test plans, and collaborate with analysts, developers, and business partners to ensure quality across insurance applications and related systems.

You will execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing, support deployments, and uphold testing standards in a fast-paced agile environment. This role embraces flexible smart-working practices and international collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
Minimum 3 years as a software quality assurance tester in technology.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, integration, UAT) and SDLC.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into test scenarios.
Familiarity with Agile methods and tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, process flows and user stories to create comprehensive test plans.
Collaborate with analysts, developers and business teams to ensure coverage of acceptance criteria.
Execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing for new features and fixes.
Ensure adherence to testing standards and quality guidelines throughout planning and execution.
Support production deployments and verification tasks.
