Job summary

Aon is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester in the Philippines to validate the quality, accuracy and reliability of insurance applications and related systems as part of the delivery team.

You will analyze business requirements, create comprehensive test plans, and execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing while collaborating with analysts, developers and business teams to ensure full coverage of acceptance criteria and smooth deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, engineering, information systems or related.
• Proven 3+ years experience as a software quality assurance tester.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, integration, UAT).
• Excellent analytical skills to translate requirements into test scenarios with full coverage.
• Familiarity with Agile and project tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, processes, user stories and specs to generate a comprehensive test plan.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers and business teams to ensure complete coverage of acceptance criteria.
• Execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing for new features and defect fixes.
• Ensure QA adherence to testing standards, quality guidelines and best practices.
• Support Business teams during User Acceptance Testing and production deployments.
• Assist in verification tasks for deployments and post-implementation checks.
