Job summary

Aon Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, Inc. seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead testing of insurance applications across the APAC hybrid environment.

You will analyze requirements, design test plans, execute tests, and mentor teammates while advancing automation and CI/CD integration.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree, 5+ years QA experience, familiarity with Jira/Azure DevOps, SQL, and insurance domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a software QA tester.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies and testing types.
• Ability to translate requirements into test scenarios with full coverage.
• Hands-on with test case design, execution and defect tracking tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation (MSSQL).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, processes, user stories, and specs to create a comprehensive test plan.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, product owners, and project managers for test coverage.
• Execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing for new features.
• Ensure QA adherence to standards and track test items across cycles.
• Provide estimates for QA verification timelines and assist in project planning.
• Support UAT and production deployment verification tasks.
• Mentor team members and promote technical excellence and innovation.
• Advocate AI and automation tools to improve regression testing and CI/CD integration.
