Qualifications

• Experience: Insurance industry work background
• Knowledge of insurance: Understanding of medical, life, health, property, or other insurance products.
• Personal qualities: Self-motivated, target-driven, trustworthy, organized, and resilient.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication and good customer service.
• Computer skills: Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and online communication tools.
• Sales skills: Ability to find clients, explain products clearly, negotiate, and close sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients through calls, meetings, referrals, and networking activities.
• Assess customer insurance needs and recommend suitable products and coverage options.
• Explain policy terms, benefits, exclusions, premiums, and claims processes clearly to clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and policy documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow up on leads, renewals, and existing client accounts to maintain strong relationships.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, applications, and sales activities.
• Coordinate with underwriting and claims teams to support policy issuance and client concerns.
