Job summary

WHR Global Consulting is seeking a Finance & Reporting Analyst / Accountant in Muntinlupa. The role covers monthly close, management reporting, regulatory submissions, and underwriting analysis in a General Insurance context.

The candidate will collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and IT teams to improve processes and automate templates while ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Close & Financial Control: manage month-end close, journal postings, trial balance reviews, GL reconciliations.
• Management Accounts & Reporting: prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and executive packs for CFO/Board.
• Statutory & Regulatory Compliance: support IFRS 4/17 reporting and regulatory returns (Insurance Commission, SEC, BSP).
• Financial Analysis & Insights: perform variance analysis, assess underwriting performance, build ad-hoc models.
• Data & Process Improvement: act as finance data contact, identify automation and control improvements.
