Job summary

WHR Global Consulting is seeking an on-site Accountant in Muntinlupa to support month-end and year-end close activities. You will monitor balances, post journal entries, and work with AP and Treasury to resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance with internal controls. A Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in BPO/shared services are preferred candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven accounting experience supporting balance sheet reconciliations and financial close.
• 1+ year of relevant experience in BPO/Shared Services is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger and end-to-end Accounts Payable workflows.
• Exceptional skills in aged balance management and audit readiness.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely reconciliations of balance sheet accounts per close schedules.
• Support weekly and monthly collections and disbursement reporting.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries including accruals and adjustments.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Treasury to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
