Job summary

The Insurance Account Officer (Renewals) at HRTx Inc. will manage renewals for high-value clients across life, personal accident, HMO, medical, and travel insurance, ensuring timely and accurate processing before lapse dates.

You will build and maintain strong client relationships, present renewal options, explain benefits and exclusions, and coordinate with insurers and internal teams to support quotations and documentation while maintaining up-to-date client records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or allied field.
• Experience with medical insurance and client accounts preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship management and organizational skills.

Job Summary:

The Insurance Account Officer (Renewals) will look after high-value clients and help keep them with the company by giving them personal, attentive support whenever their policies come up for renewal. The accounts you'll handle cover life, personal accident, HMO, medical, and travel insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Renewal Management

• Handle renewals for assigned private client accounts across life, personal accident, HMO, medical, and travel insurance
• Track upcoming renewal dates and reach out to clients well ahead of time
• Review policy details, benefits, and any changes at renewal, and explain them clearly to clients
• Present renewal options and help clients choose coverage that fits their needs
• Make sure renewals are processed accurately and before policies lapse

Client Relationship & Retention

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-value clients
• Give personalized assistance that helps clients understand their coverage, limits, and exclusions
• Respond to client questions and concerns promptly and professionally
• Spot clients who may be at risk of leaving and take proactive steps to keep them
• Check in with clients regularly, not just when a renewal is due

Coordination & Documentation

• Work with insurers and internal teams to process renewals and related requests on time
• Prepare quotations, renewal notices, and supporting documents as needed
• Keep complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of client accounts and renewal activity
• Report on renewal status, retention results, and account issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any of the following or a related field: Business Administration (Marketing, Management, or Operations Management), Marketing or Communication, Healthcare or Hospital Administration, Nursing or other allied health programs
• Experience in medical insurance, HMO, healthcare, or related accounts is preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance terms, including benefits, limits, exclusions, and deductibles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Organized and able to manage many accounts and renewal deadlines at once
• Comfortable using MS Office and handling client records
