We’re Hiring: Industrial Engineering Group and Process Improvement Supervisor
Axelum Resources Corp. is looking for a results-oriented and analytical Industrial Engineering Group and Process Improvement Supervisor to lead initiatives focused on operational efficiency, productivity improvement, process optimization, and cost reduction across our manufacturing operations.
We are particularly interested in candidates with strong Industrial Engineering, manufacturing, process improvement, and continuous improvement experience who can translate data and operational insights into practical solutions that improve overall plant performance.
About the Role
The Industrial Engineering Group and Process Improvement Supervisor is responsible for leading the Industrial Engineering and Process Improvement function, driving initiatives that enhance productivity, optimize processes, improve resource utilization, reduce costs and waste, and strengthen operational performance. The role works closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and other support functions to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Industrial Engineering Group and Process Improvement function in supporting plant-wide operational excellence initiatives
- Conduct process studies, time and motion studies, capacity analysis, manpower assessment, and productivity evaluations
- Analyze production data, process performance, labor utilization, equipment capacity, downtime, yield, wastage, and other operational KPIs
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for productivity and cost improvement
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Industrial Engineering and continuous improvement methodologies
- Establish and monitor productivity standards, work standards, process parameters, and performance measures
- Review and optimize manpower requirements, line balancing, work allocation, and production processes
- Lead root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions for recurring operational issues
- Facilitate continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other operational excellence initiatives
- Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and improvement proposals supported by data and analysis
- Monitor and validate the effectiveness and sustainability of implemented improvement projects
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, QA, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and other departments in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate operational performance and improvement results to management
- Establish documentation and standardization of improved processes and work methods
- Lead, coach, and develop Industrial Engineering and Process Improvement personnel
- Support capital expenditure evaluations, equipment utilization studies, and process improvement projects as required
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- At least 2–4 years of supervisory or leadership experience in Industrial Engineering, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related function
- Strong experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or other high-volume production environments
- Proven experience in process improvement, productivity improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering tools and methodologies, including time study, work measurement, line balancing, capacity analysis, and manpower planning
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in analyzing production and operational data and translating findings into actionable improvement plans
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis/reporting tools
- Experience in process mapping, KPI development, productivity monitoring, and performance reporting is highly preferred
- Experience in coconut processing, food manufacturing, or similar manufacturing operations is an advantage
