Job summary

Shopee in Manila is seeking an experienced inbound operations leader to plan daily receiving activities, allocate manpower, and supervise on-site execution for smooth inbound flow.

You will monitor the inbound process, report anomalies, develop contingency plans for peak volumes, and drive SOPs and KPI achievement while guiding the team and controlling costs.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement and cost optimization within a fast-paced e-commerce warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations Management: Plan daily inbound operations, allocate manpower, control progress, and oversee on-site execution to ensure smooth receiving processes.
• Exception Monitoring: Monitor the inbound workflow, promptly report operational anomalies, and implement preventive measures to mitigate operational risks.
• Peak Volume Handling: Develop contingency plans for bulk arrivals and mass inbound shipments; optimize the allocation of personnel and equipment to maintain efficiency during peak periods.
• Process Optimization: Implement and refine warehouse management policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workflow standards to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• KPI Achievement: Ensure inbound operational tasks are completed on schedule and meet established KPI targets.
• Team Development: Lead inbound team building initiatives and establish a talent pipeline through training and mentorship.
• Cost Control: Manage and control costs across all inbound stages to minimize overall receiving operational expenses.
