Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, and nutrition, is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to join Global Operations in Manila (onsite). You will track inbound shipments, follow up on POs, coordinate freight with forwarders, and ensure timely deliveries to support plant operations across the region.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field, 2+ years in logistics or warehousing, basic knowledge of shipping and Incoterms, and

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Over 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations.
• Basic knowledge of shipping processes, Incoterms, and transport modes.

Responsibilities

• Track inbound shipments from global suppliers and interaffiliates.
• Follow up on purchase orders and resolve delivery delays with partners.
• Coordinate transportation with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics providers.
• Monitor deliveries from ports/terminals to the warehouse or plant.
• Work with customs brokers to ensure timely clearance.
• Communicate with planning, warehouse, and logistics teams for smooth inbound operations.
• Check freight invoices and support cost-control efforts.
• Monitor performance of logistics service providers and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain shipment records and update SAP or other systems regularly.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Track inbound shipments from global suppliers and interaffiliates and ensure raw materials are delivered on time to support plant operations across the Greater Asia region.
• Follow up on purchase orders and work with suppliers or logistics providers to resolve delivery delays.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners.
• Monitor and arrange deliveries from ports or terminals to the warehouse or plant.
• Work with customs brokers to ensure inbound shipments are cleared on time.
• Communicate with planning, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inbound operations.
• Check freight invoices and support efforts to control and reduce logistics costs.
• Monitor the performance of logistics service providers and elevate issues when needed.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update SAP or other logistics systems regularly.

What Makes You The Right Fit

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Over 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transportation operations.
• Basic knowledge of shipping processes, transport modes (air, sea, and land), and Incoterms.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and willing to learn SAP or other logistics systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills when working with different teams and external partners.
• Able to work under pressure, manage urgent tasks, and prioritize work effectively.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in solving problems.
