Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. The Manila-based role is hybrid.

You will serve as Corporate Treasurer in the Philippines, supporting month-end to year-end closing and ensuring US GAAP compliance. You will prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and assist with statutory financial statements, audits, and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Corporate Treasurer of the Company in the Philippines.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in accordance with US GAAP and Philippine statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analyses to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Analyze financial results and provide meaningful variance analysis for management review.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, management reports, and corporate reporting packages.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and reconciliation issues.
• Collaborate with Global Business Services and cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in financial processes.
• Support internal and external audits through timely preparation of documentation and responses to audit inquiries.
• Assist with tax compliance activities and maintain supporting documentation required by local regulations.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements, SOX standards, and company policies.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, treasury, or corporate finance.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local accounting standards, statutory reporting requirements, taxation, and financial controls.
• Knowledge of Philippine corporate, tax, and SEC regulations.
• Proficiency in financial planning, cash management, and treasury operations.
• Strong understanding of SOX, internal controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
