Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, and health & biosciences, is seeking a planning/procurement professional based in Manila, onsite, to drive material planning across multiple plants. You will collaborate with international teams, optimize material availability, and monitor KPIs to safeguard production continuity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of planning and/or operational buying experience in a supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP systems and applications.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken, with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material availability to meet on-time delivery through procurement and supplier management.
• Manage daily demand from six manufacturing plants: purchasing, stock replenishment, inbound deliveries.
• Resolve material shortages to maintain production continuity.
• Collaborate with supply chain planners and site managers to align planning processes.
• Partner with procurement and vendors to improve delivery schedules and mutual processes.
• Optimize material availability and inventory metrics, including inventory days and obsolescence management.
• Drive continuous improvement to strengthen supply chain efficiency and reduce risks.
• Act as the accountable representative for Taste material planning in cross-functional projects.
• Monitor and report KPIs related to material availability, vendor performance, and inventory health.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Ensure global Six Sigma raw material availability to meet 98% on-time customer delivery through operational buying, vendor management, and process improvement.
• Manage daily demand from six manufacturing plants in GA region, including purchasing, stock replenishment, and monitoring inbound deliveries.
• Resolve raw material shortages promptly to maintain production continuity.
• Collaborate with local supply chain planners and site managers to align day-to-day planning processes.
• Partner with procurement and vendors to enhance delivery schedules and implement mutual process improvements.
• Optimize raw material availability and global inventory metrics, including inventory days, write-offs, and management of obsolete or slow-moving stock.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen supply chain efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Act as the accountable representative for Taste raw material planning in cross-functional projects.
• Monitor and report KPIs related to material availability, vendor performance, and inventory health.

What Makes You The Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and/or operational buying within a supply chain environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and related applications for managing demand, supply, and material flow (e.g., SAP MRP).
• Proven ability to manage expectations and collaborate effectively in an international environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both written and spoken.
