KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check and prepare import draft documents.
- Recording of incoming shipments
- Familiarization of shipping rates with forwarder and shipping lines
- Coordinate shipment status with brokers
- Prepare and file monthly report with DENR
- Application of Certificate of Exemption / Import Permit with government agencies (BPS)
- Coordinate with accounting for payments
- Coordinate through email with suppliers about the orders and documents.
- Renewal of registration and certificates documentations with diff government agencies.
- Send daily report on shipment status
- Perform other tasks or special assignments as directed by the Superior and/or Management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related course.
- With experience in import/export documentation or related logistics work is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in importation procedures, customs documentation, and shipping requirements.
- Familiar with preparing and processing documents such as Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Import Permits.
- Experience coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- With good communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized in handling documents and records.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Preferably with knowledge of customs regulations and import compliance.
