Acquire BPO is a global BPO provider offering contact center and back-office services for major brands. This ICT On-Site Support and Build Area Staff role is critical to keeping customers and staff satisfied, ensuring equipment functionality, and supporting the organization's growth.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and resolve issues using knowledge-based tools and the IT Service Desk.
Monitor user and system adherence to security standards.
Evaluate, test, and recommend hardware, software, and network solutions.
Operate and monitor servers, platforms, and network components; escalate when needed.
Assist staff with setup, configuration, and usability of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Escalate issues to higher support levels as required.
Document, track, and monitor problems for timely resolution.
Prepare equipment for operations and for WFH use; configure VPN for remote work.
Gather information to determine best resolution path and ensure hardware accessories function properly.

A Glimpse into Your New Role

As an ICT On-Site Support and Build Area Staff, your role is vital in keeping our customers and employees happy and contributing to our organization's growth and success.

In This Role, You Will

Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and resolve issues as directed by knowledge-based tools, IT Service Desk, and/or the Shift Supervisor.
Monitor user and system adherence to security standards.
Evaluate and test equipment, network/software, and system tool products, submitting recommendations to the shift supervisor.
Operate and monitor divisional operating systems, platforms, network, servers, and software, escalating and/or resolving exceptions in accordance with established procedures.
Assist staff with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software complying with given standards and guidelines.
Escalate issues to higher levels of support when needed.
Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
Set and load computer equipment with required items and prepare equipment for operations.
Gather and analyze information about the user's issue and determine the best way to resolve their problem.
Ensure hardware accessories are functional and usable, troubleshooting hardware issues as the primary scope of support.
Provide physical support to all system users.
Act as a second layer of support to prepare machines for WFH users, configure VPN for out-of-office environments, and arrange logistics of technology items for delivery for home use.
